Individual Therapy – A one-to-one process with you and a trained Therapist

Couples Counseling – A strength-based interactional process that includes you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, partner, life partner or significant other and a trained Therapist. The Sloane Center welcomes gay and lesbian couples

Marital Therapy – A strength-based interactional process that includes you and your spouse and a trained Therapist

Family Therapy – A strength-based interactional process that includes all those family members and/or significant others who are determined to be part of the family system and are involved in the issue(s) bringing you to therapy. Family does not have to include biological members only; it is based on who is considered by the family to be a part of the family, with a trained Therapist.

Pre-Marital Counseling – For those individuals who are seeking to wed in the near future, Pre-Marital Counseling is designed to identify areas of strength as well as difference in the relationship, in an effort to resolve those differences prior to the wedding. We can assist couples in role identification within the relationship, spousal expectations, clarity of financial roles and dealing with issues of children, in-laws, geographic changes and other issues specific to the sharing of one’s life with another.
We are a Certified Pre-Marital Counseling Provider in both Broward and Dade Counties.

Addictions Counseling - Whether the issue is drugs, alcohol, gambling, Internet, work, sexual addiction or a combination of issues, treatment is available. As a Certified Addictions Professional, Sloane will work with you and your family (if desired and indicated) to create a plan of recovery regardless of the addiction. Services are provided to those who are motivated to work hard and make changes in their life.

Sloane and Associates are also available to work with issues of high conflict marriage, divorce, and post-divorce (Therapy and Parent Coordination). We provide both Supervised and Therapeutic Supervised Visitation services. We are also available for consultation and presentations on a variety of topics. Call for details.

SCHEDULING AND FEES

Initial appointments are typically 2 hours in duration. The sessions that follow are typically 50 minutes in duration and occur once weekly, although we are flexible and open to the scheduling needs of our clients.

The fee for services is dependant on the Therapist with whom you schedule your appointment. Fees are discussed at the time the initial appointment is scheduled. Payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
